I had Punta Ventana on my bucket list for some time, and finally decided to bike down to the beach while staying at Copamarina.

by My Puerto Rico Experience

We wanted to take a lot of pictures of the rock formations and beach, so we got there early with great sunlight. The road was smooth and straight (perfect for biking), and we enjoyed the mango trees from the private farm all the way to the shore. Pro tip: this beach is not for swimming but makes a superb hiking and biking trail.

After Punta Ventana, we decided to go to Girasoles, a sunflower field in Guánica. The brightness and intensity of the yellow sunflowers greeted us with the early afternoon sun and were surrounded by Papaya and Pumpkin crops. Certainly an incredible experience for people into Puerto Rico ecotourism!
